you realise that people can be shocked by the Hamas brutal terrorist attacks, and nevertheless feel shocked by the brutal genocide Israel started as a response. Two bads don't make one good, of course Israel has the right to self defence, but this is something else, this is the ultimate lack of humanity - IDF behaviour since October has been no better than Hamas.

When Arafat was alive, he and his country was offered independence like 5 days, Arafat just walked out. He also signed some sort of independence for his state and proclaimed a ton of land for themselves, which they did not control and claimed Jerusalem as their capital.

At base, the protests aren't "Pro-Palestinian", but they are focused on the civilians' rights and welfare. They aren't anti-Israel, but they're anti-warcrime. At least the smarter and less biased protests.

While I agree with you there are two things problematic with that. 1) Displacing the Gazans would be a massive crime against humanity 2) Israel is the one who is wrong, and it is not their neighbors responsibility to clean up their mess.
