Shekhar, brilliant recap of a document (dated 2013) and it also gives insight into how PLA think from their perspective. However things have changed drastically in India (since 2014 and specially after 2019) with a strongly National Govt which does mince words or making India more dominant than they ever anticipated .

What an incredible assessment and analysis of the situation. For last 1 year since the india china clashes, I kept on assuming why did China do this. What have they gain? You have really given a better insights of chines minds. They want to refrain India from realising its potential in sea.
