And the US has benefitted as well. McDonalds will open another 1000 stores in China this year as they grow to 10,000 outlets there. Starbucks open a new outlet in China every 9 hours (according to their website) That's nearly 3 new outlets a day. Ford and GM have multiple plants in China. You worry too much.

Before you call Gordon Chang a China expert ask him how many times he visited China after he became US citizen and when were his last trips there and how long he stated and whom he met. How does an armchair China absentee become an expert on a ciuntryvhe hasn't visited for decades?

US consumers like those in many countries use products made in China. They might be US or other companies making them, but the products are made in China, just like over half the world's Teslas are made in China. No problem there.
