"Shrinking Manufacturing Activity", I see it directly as I'm involved in large farming equiptment manufacturing. We have been cutting production since the new year. A major problem in the US is most of our manufacturing is tied to expensive products(machinery, vehicles, housing, ect) so as soon as the interest rates go up, people stop buying.
