Although India helped BD in its liberation war, the majority of BD never accepted India as a true friend. With this deal, India may have gained operational rights, but it has raised anger among the majority. India should focus on improving the people to people relation rather than relying only on the Hasina government. What India has currently with Bangladesh is not a healthy relationship.
